Speedo Sensors

Electronic (Hall Effect) Sensors Found on almost all modern motorcycles and scooters, these are non-contact sensors.  • How it works: A sensor is mounted near a "tone ring" (a slotted metal disc) or a magnet on the wheel or gearbox. As the wheel spins, the sensor detects the magnetic field changes and sends a digital pulse to the ECU or the digital dashboard. • Pros: Highly accurate, no moving parts to wear out, and allows for features like ABS and traction control.
